Walmart Deals for Shoeboxes

A lot of people who shop year round for Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes have been reporting finding good deals on items at WalMart.  I thought I'd share the Brickseek links for as many of the items people have been getting as I can to help others find them.  For those unfamiliar with Brickseek, it is a service that attempts to track  inventory and prices at stores.  It's not foolproof, but it is a good way to get an idea of stock and prices before one heads to the store.  You should be able to just put in your zip-code in each link and get an idea of what deals you may find at your local store.  Remember to be kind and understanding as it may not have the stock or price you expect.  And utilizing the in-store price scanners (and maybe app) can be helpful, too!  I've also heard that if your's aren't down today, check after Feb. 1st.

Check out my new, regularly updated post:

Thanks for providing the UPC and SKU. It helped when I went to Walmart the other day to get some of the listed items and it helped the associate look items up quickly and locate them.

Although the associate's scanner showed items in stock, that was not always the case (which you have said happens sometimes), but also some items showed out of stock or were not in the "proper location". Even though these were clearance items, I found some items not in the clearance area, but instead in the "old locations." For example, the coloring books for .25 were mixed in with the full price coloring books, not in the clearance area. Some school notebooks were .10, and still in the area with the rest of the notebooks.

A friendly suggestion to all - don't be deterred if the item doesn't show up "in stock", just check other locations before giving up. Use the self scanners, too. (That is how I found the .10 notebooks.)

Thanks for all your detailed information. It helps so much and saves time for us "OCCers."

The notebooks I found for .50 and under are UPC 789 041 938 274. They have sparkly covers. They are 7" x 5" and 80 pages.
